About Us
Lee CPA Services, PLLC was founded by Chris Lee, CPA in 2020. It is a registered Texas CPA Firm.
The mission of this firm is to provide a high level of professional knowledge and service to new and small business that are often underserved by either large CPA firms or non-credentialed preparers. We connect deeply with my clients to understand their problems and their goals. We share the belief that the American Dream is achieved through sacrifice, risk-taking, and hard work, rather than by chance. We collaborate efficiently so that they can focus on growing their business.
Chris is a native Houstonian and first generation college graduate. He completed his Associate Degree from the Houston Community College Systems in 2005. He completed his Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting in 2008 from the Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. After over ten years of industry accounting, marriage, and five kids later… he became a licensed Texas Certified Public Accountant in 2019.
His curiosity for complex accounting and tax issues, love of learning, work ethic, and the desire to serve the public led to formation of Lee CPA Services, PLLC in late 2020.
He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of CPA’s Houston Chapter.
Background
His very extensive accounting experience includes various accounting and leadership roles including; SEC Financial Reporting, Intercompany, Legal Entity Accounting, Revenue and Commodity, Derivatives, General Ledger, Corporate Accounting Manger, and Systems Implementations.
Companies range from small independently companies to large publicly traded companies. Mid to Large companies include: Atwood Oceanics (NYSE: ATW) , Energy Transfer (ET), Cheniere (LNG), and Intuit (NYSE: INTU).
He in addition to managing the firm, Chris collaborates with other CPA’s and EA’s across the country through various groups and organizations. He works with Intuit as a Lead Tax Expert.
